This week we started a new Cheeky unit about houses, their specific rooms and what goes in those specific rooms. We also learned and practiced the number 15 and 16. We have also been learning the days of the week and reading "The Hungry Caterpillar". This book is about a caterpillar and what he eats all week. Since we have studied food and the kids really enjoyed learning about it, I decided we should make our own laminated copies of caterpillars and food so that we can follow along with the book and also learn the days of the week better by having a fun activity that goes along with it. The kids have been having lots of fun with it. Here are some of the kids' caterpillars and food. Today we had a lot of fun making an octopus craft and they look really nice hung up in our room with the fish craft that Kamile did with them the other day.
